Although many customers are familiar with OpenTable, there are a couple reasons that Carrol’s Creek made the switch. First, we feel that the Resy platform is better for our customers. Resy allows Carrol’s Creek to offer additional reservation times online and the ability to communicate in more ways than before with our guests. Our holiday reservations will now also be available online or from the Resy app. We can now notify you if a requested reservation opens at a time that was previously unavailable. The second reason that we switched is that the new version of the OpenTable software, Guest Center, was not as flexible as the prior software version. Carrol’s Creek has many variations in the way that our dining rooms can be arranged. The reservation system must be able to adjust easily as we book private rooms and other large groups on a daily basis. Carrol’s Creek joins a growing list of other local restaurants on the Resy platform. These include O’Learys Seafood, Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill, Gordon Biersch, Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge, Tsunami, Reynolds Tavern, Old Stein Inn, Harry Browne’s, and the Severn Inn.
